Biocide
Glutaraldehyde is a micro biocide with broad range activity against bacteria, algae and fungi.
THPS is a biocide effective against micro pest in industrial cooling systems, oil field operations, and paper-making industry. The advantage is it will soon degrade to a nontoxic substance immediately after use. In 1997, the product passed the attestation in the United States of America and was formally put into use in the field of environmental protection. In the same year, it was awarded with American Green Chemicals Award.
Corrosion Inhibitor
MKW COR-INHIB B provides excellent corrosion inhibition for the drill string, tubular goods and downhole tools. It is a water soluble filming amine corrosion inhibitor having oxygen scavenging and biocidal properties. It forms a protective film on metal surfaces to prevent corrosion attack from oxygen, carbon dioxide and hydrogen sulphide.
Drilling Detergent
MKW Detergent 1 is a blend based on natural solvent. It is designed to give optimum grease solvency properties.
MMKW Detergent 2 is a blend based on new generation environmentally friendly surfactants which are readily biodegradable.
MMKW Mutual Solvent is a surfactant blend which is miscible with base fluids. It is recommended for removing oil wet solids from casing prior to displacing the hole to clean brine. It is also effective as a pipe dope remover prior to pickling operations.
Filtration Control Agents / Shale Control Additives
PAC HV is water-soluble polymer for water-based drilling fluids, effectively reduce the filtration rate of many water-based oil and gas drilling fluids and may also be used to increase and stabilize viscosity to improve hole cleaning and suspension properties in a wide variety of fluid environments.
PAC-LV is a polyanionic cellulose polymer for water-based drilling fluids. It effectively reduces the filtration rate of many water-based drilling fluids, especially solids-laden fluids, without causing significant increases in viscosity or gel strengths.
PAC-R is a premium grade purified high viscosity, high molecular weight, polyanionic cellulose polymer designed to provide viscosity and reduce API filtration rate to water based drilling fluids.
Black Gem is an asphalt that exist naturally and is available in a range of softening points. It is suitable for as a high temperature high presure control for filtration in oil-based conditions. Due to its unique compatibility, Black Gem is frequently used to harden softer petroleum products.
PHPA is a specially treated high molecular weight Partially Hydrolyzed Polyacrylamide polymer for all water-base drilling fluids. It functions as viscosifying agent, shale and bore-hole stabilizer, encapsulator, bentonite extender, flocculation agent and assist with fluid loss control.
Loss Control Material
RUBBER-BITX is a lost circulation material made up of vulcanized rubber ground to a -20 mesh (F), 10-20 mesh (M), and 3.5/6 mesh (C) size.
Lubricants And Surfactants
MKW-APG0303 is mild, readily biodegradable, nonionic product with good detergency and wetting properties. It is used as a Multi-purpose surfactant.
MKW DF-A is an all-purpose defoamer. It is based on 2-Ethyl Hexanol and modified fatty acid derivatives. It is a water dispersible premium grade defoamer.
MKW DF-S is a highly effective defoamer, based on a silicone polymer.
MKW DRILL LUBE F is a blend of esters of natural fatty acids. It is an effective lubricant for most water based drilling fluids.
MKW DRILL LUBE R is a water-dispersible lubricant.
pH Control
Magnesium oxide is an effective pH buffer for aqueous systems. At low dosages it may be used to extend polymer stability at high temperatures.
Soda Ash is used primarily to treat calcium contamination in water based muds and or make up water.
Sodium Bicarbonate is used in water base muds as a source of bicarbonate ions to precipitate calcium. It will reduce pH and is primarily used for treating cement contamination. Sodium Bicarbonate is soluble in water.
Viscosifiers
MKW X-2/X-2D is a technical grade, high molecular weight polysaccharide biopolymer designed specially to viscosify water base drilling, completion and workover fluids. It is soluble in all water systems from freshwater, seawater, salt and heavy brine systems.
MKW X-3/X-3D is a cost-effective, high molecular weight polysaccharide biopolymer designed specially to viscosify water base drilling, completion and workover fluids. It is soluble in all water systems from freshwater, seawater, salt and heavy brine systems.
MKW X-4/X-4D is a premium grade, high molecular weight polysaccharide biopolymer designed specially to viscosify water base drilling, completion and workover fluids. It is soluble in all water systems from freshwater, seawater, salt and heavy brine systems.
(HEC) Hydroxyethylcellulose is a non-ionic water-soluble polymer designed specifically to increase the viscosity of water-based fluids used in workover and completion operations. The resulting polymer solutions are clear, viscous and residue-free.
CMC HV is a technical grade carboxymethylcellulose that has high viscosity, high molecular weight designed to provide viscosity and reduce API filtration rate to water based drilling fluids.
CMC LV is a low viscosity carboxymethylcellulose designed to reduce API filtration rate with minimum increase in viscosity in water based drilling fluids. Low viscosity carboxymethylcellulose is usually used in "thin" aqueous solutions.

Calcium Bromide Powder Product Bulletin
Calcium Bromide Brine is a single-salt solution, ready-to-use, to form clear brine workover and completion fluids that require densities from 8.4 to 14.2 lb/gal (1007 to 1702 kg/m3).
Calcium Chloride can be used to achieve rapid density increase with minimum volume addition. It also provides inhibition preventing the hydration and migration of swelling clays and can be used in packer fluids. Calcium Chloride is available with anhydrous (CaCl2) and dihydrate (CaCl2.2H2O) in forms of prills, powder, granule or flakes.
Calcium Chloride Brine is used in completion, workover, and gravel packing, perforating and packer fluids, of densities in the range of 11.67 lb /gal (1398 kg /m3). Calcium chloride is also widely used as the internal phase in non-aqueous fluids.
Potassium Formate powder easily soluble in water, non-toxic and non-corrosive, is a high-purity, dry crystalline organic salt used to formulate brine. Potassium Formate is used to make high density and solids-free formate brine in the operations of water based drilling, completion, workover and fracturing, which require densities ranging from 8.4 to 13.1 lb/gal (1004 - 1573 kg/m3).
Potassium Formate Liquor is used to formulate high density and solids-free fluids in the operations of water based drilling, completion, workover and fracturing, ranging in density from 8.4 to 13.1 lb/gal (1007 to 1570 kg/m3). They eliminate the problems associated with precipitate formation that can occur when using calcium-base fluids in wells with high carbonate, bicarbonate or sulfate concentrations.
Sodium Bromide Powder is used to form clear-brine workover and completion fluid for densities ranging from 8.4 to 12.5 lb/gal (1007 to 1498 kg/m3). These fluids are used where formation waters contain high concentrations of bicarbonate and sulfate ions.

For customers' options, it is readily available in the form of Zinc Bromide Powder or Zinc Bromide Liquor.
Zinc Bromide/Calcium Bromide brine, often referred to as 54.5% Zinc Bromide and 19.5% Calcium Bromide. It is used for clear-brine workover, completion and packer fluids that require high density range of up 19.2 ppg (2.3 SG).
